Aliens won the toss and elected to bat first during their T20 game against Vestli B that was played on Ekeberg on the 4th of June 2024
After losing the early wickets of Dennis and Ankush, Pratik and Branson started to create a partnership, but unfortunataly it wasnt to last as Branson got out for a well made 21 under pressure.
Sushil had a quickfire cameo of 18, striking the ball at a strikerate of 225. The performances of Branson, Sushil and a 69 made by Pratik along singledigit scores by the rest set a target for Vestli B of 155 to win.
Aliens started off well grabbing their first wicket in the second over, with wickets falling in 3 consecutive overs from the 8th over. With another wicket coming in the 13th over following a great run out by Benan, Aliens were looking unbeatable!
The batting pair of Baryalai and Sahir from Vestli started to create a partnership which was starting to look dangerous. With the required runrate still being above 14 with 5 overs left to play, things were still looking to go Aliens way.
Baryalai then decided to unleash some well known power hitting abilities and with 2 overs remaining and Vestli still needing 36 runs to win, Baryalai wasted no time. He single handedly chased down the score with two balls remaining. He finished on 56* of 23, including 5 big sixes!
His partner Sahir ended up on 47* of 34. Aliens tried hard to break this partnership but it proved too difficult a task.
A tough pill to swallow for Aliens CC having lost a match like this.
